GiL volunteers visit Tayport Community Garden

On the 4th August some of our volunteers went on a site visit to Tayport’s Community Garden which was established two years ago by PLANT (People Learning About Nature in Tayport). The visit was arranged by Councillors Bill Connor and Linda Holt.

PLANT volunteers showed us around their fantastic project, giving us new ideas and strengthening our existing and developing projects. The work that has been achieved by the group with support from the community is inspirational, and this is one of many projects we hope to visit across Fife as we research and develop our own community garden for Lochgelly.

Thank you to the volunteers of PLANT and the two councillors for taking the time to show us around the various projects in Tayport.
